Get sky tv through a grundig box since 1998 been no problems until now

Either replace your incompatibile boxes with a second hand Sky+HD box (DRX890 or DR895) or upgrade to Sky Q/Sky Glass/Sky Stream

Note that Sky will only advise moving to the Q platform (or streaming) because those are their current platforms: if you don't wish to do so then you'd need to source a late model (c2015) Sky+ HD box second hand, as @Annie+UK indicates. These are around £30 on eBay: it's unclear if Sky intends to keep them in support until satellite television is no longer a thing.

is there any non free channels thats arent sky owned channels that will still work or will all pay channels stop working?

I have not read anything specific from other providers such as UKTV (Alibi Gold, Eden (the subscription channels) , Drama, Dave, W, Yesterday (Free)) but I think it may only be a matter of time before they switch also
