Yesterday, I noticed on the Sky Q Home Page that Hacks was being touted as a " Sky Exclusive ". I also had an email from Sky today about their programmes & the same thing was mentioned there. However, when I do a voice search on Sky Q for Hacks, it clearly shows that it is available on Amazon Prime Video. Also, there is no tile showing that Hacks is even on Sky. On the other hand, if I do a regular alphabet search for Hacks, it shows that it is available on both APV & Sky. It is quite a mess & also incorrect advertising as Hacks clearly isn't " exclusive " to Sky. I have provided some photos to show what I mean.

3 and soon 4 that's exclusive to Sky, so they can probably get away with it

The main difference between 1-2 on Sky vs Prime, , is Sky/NBCU got the references to Hacks being HBO Max/Max Original removed no sequence and no on screen credit only says 'Universal Television Production'
I suspect 1-2 will leave Prime later this year, Sky has the rights to 1-3 until at least 26th January 2028

Then maybe the advertising should be made a bit more clear. S1 & 2 are definitely not exclusive to Sky. That is false advertising in my book.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI am really looking forward to watching season 3 of Hacks and happy Sky have got the rights, I saw the first two seasons on TG4 here and they were excellent.

I don't think the actual Sky Max TV adverts themselsves say 'Sky Exclusive' unless it's been changed.
