Only selected movies are available on the HBO Max app with the basic with ads HBO Max subscription which is included with Sky Ultimate TV.

If you want full access to the catalogue then you need to pay for a higher tier of HBO Max.

The included tier with a Sky subscription on HBO Max is the "basic with ads". In order to access the more fairly released movies on HBO Max you need at a minimum the "standard with ads" tier

Which I believe isn't currently available through Sky: the next higher one they offer is 'Standard' for an additional £5 pcm

New Warner Bros. discovery movies aren’t included in HBO Max Basic with Ads. To watch them in the app, you’ll need to upgrade your HBO Max plan in Sky Marketplace, the My Sky App or on Sky.com. You can’t do this in the HBO Max app

If you have Sky Cinema, you can watch these movies on Sky without changing anything..
