Eurosport 4k no olympics?

Could someone please advise how I can get the additional UHD channels on my SkyQ EPG? I have Main Event & F1 UHD on 401 and 406 but no sign of the 903/904/906 channels.

They are existing on Stream only, on Q these channels are not included in EPG.

Brilliant coverage on discovery plus. Much better and more options than the other channel

Just one question, is there UHD on discovery plus Sky stream? Great also the tab if you want to know when there is GB involvement

No UHD this year it seems.

Luckily I have a dish aligned at 19.2E with a german HD+ sub, so I can watch Eurosport 4K with the tv's built-in sat tuner. But it's really a shame I'm forced to watch it this way.

@nigea99 In fact Eurosport 4K was available before the Opening Ceremony. It showed the football qualifiers. It's very disappionting Sky haven't been given access to a dedicated UHD Olympics channel as Virgin Media have this time around. We are after all paying a subscription to receive Eurosport.

I guess I was being rather optimistic to think that we would get UHD On SKy once the games began in earnest.

Still hoping that we will - it will be very disappointing if we don't

Im Actually flabbergasted that there isnt any 4k for the Olympics other than behind a TNT paywall on Sky, I pay for UHD and the biggest sporting event of them all Sky really have dropped the ball.

Is it possible to get a european version of Eurosport 4k  in the manual tuning menu ?

The european feeds are from a different set of Satellites and even if you could I think you would need the relevant subscription for the relevant territory's channel.

Still nothing on the three UHD channels on Sky Stream for the Olympics, 903/904/906

It is just all cricket next week on 903; Test match and The hundred.

Next weekend the SPFL football takes over 903 and the cricket moves to 904

Also notice that there is uhd boxing next Saturday night on 903. Think that is a first for boxing.

The 906 uhd channel is blank all week and is the one that normally shows the Eurosport uhd content.

Correct all the other feeds at 13e & 19E (the 2 most popular for Europe) have Eurosport 4K pop up channels but are encrypted for the relevant Pay TV providers.

Thanks for all the info, I could easily rant and rave as to why we have been left short in the U.K. but it is what it is. I guess Sky UK have become such a big entity they can make decisions that aren't entirely customer focused now and not feel any push back. The Eurosport channels look to be better in clarity than the BBC if that’s helpful to anyone. 😀.

@On+the+coast. Especially since Virgin Media and EE in the UK have access to Eurosport 4K and the Eurosport 2-9 pop-up channels. As you rightly say, we are paying for UHD, we should be provided with a UHD channel for the Olympics.

Flabbergasted is not the word that I'd use. Disgusted is one of the more polite that comes to mind. Upscaled HD on a large 4k TV creates an acceptable picture quality, but I did not invest in Sky UHD equipment and additional subscriptions to watch an acceptable picture. I pay a considerable amount of money to Sky each month and that they have put their UHD Olympic coverage behind another £30 a month paywall when other UK suppliers such as Virgin are providing it for free is disgraceful.

Sky Group doesn't have any Olympics broadcast rights.

What Warner Bros Discovery Inc (Eurosport/Discovery+/TNT) chooses to do is up to them: they'd probably quite like to get some money back from what was presumably an extremely large investment in acquiring exclusive European coverage outside the limited free-to-air EBU contract for PSB channels. No doubt the IOC were also extremely happy about the deal too.
