Re: Big things coming to Sky - 11th February
The email I got says my Discovery+ account payment details and passwords etc will automatically still be valid for my TNT Sport subscription through the HBO Max app and website when they launch. That's direct, not through Sky.

Notably Basic with ads that doesn't include access to new Warner movies
Basic with Ads (£4.99/month): Stream on 2 devices in Full HD
All the best HBO Max shows and movies, excluding movies that first stream on the service following their theatrical release window.
From March 26, HBO Max Basic with Ads will be available to Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers with Sky Ultimate TV and Sky Q customers as part of their Sky subscription.

Will I continue to receive TNT Sports after HBO Max launches on 26 March 2026?
Hi,
I currently have the Ultimate package including all TNT Sports channels and Discovery+. I read that when HBO Max launches in the UK in March, TNT Sports will cease to be available via Discovery+ and instead will be available via HBO Max.
I understand that Sky subscribers will have access to the HBO Basic app, but that TNT Sports channels will only be available via the HBO Standard app and above, not via the HBO Basic app.
Does this mean that I'll lose access to TNT Sports channels on Sky after 26 March 2026? If so, how much will my monthly subscription be reducing by on 26 March, since I'm paying extra at present to receive the TNT Sports channels?
Sky needs to be clear with its subscribers about what the HBO Max tie-up means for them. So far, I've found nothing definitive on line.

Great points @MarkAB0405 Sky need to be clear on this as it's confusing

Sky have an event tomorrow for major announcements. All might be made clear. 🙂

Re: Will I continue to receive TNT Sports after HBO Max launches on 26 March 2026?
Indeed. But according to various media outlets - "Sky Ultimate TV customers will get access to HBO Max Basic with Ads at no extra cost, much like the deal you get with Netflix included." Which doesn't include TNT sports

Re: Will I continue to receive TNT Sports after HBO Max launches on 26 March 2026?
Clearly no one will be getting TNT Sports free with HBO basic anymore than they did with Discovery+. It's highly unlikely that TNT Sports subscribers through Sky will completely lose access with the new HBO Max deal.

Re: Will I continue to receive TNT Sports after HBO Max launches on 26 March 2026?
Agreed. But I'm not bothered about the HBO stuff. I want to keep watching the sports (including Premier League & FA Cup) which aren't available elsewhere.

Re: Will I continue to receive TNT Sports after HBO Max launches on 26 March 2026?
Yes. I'm currently paying £30 or so a month for TNT Sports. I don't expect to get the TNT Sports channels for free. I just want confirmation that I'll still get access to TNT Sports for about the same price per month. Sky need to keep their customers updated.
