Condoning foul play

Could you please stop your commentators from condoning tactical fouls that prevent a player taking advantage of their skills. This type of commentary sends the wrong message to youngsters. Your commentators should condemn such actions and any other actions that stop real skill and quality prevailing and positively impacting a game.

@Brent91 That tactic is taught at every club in every league from the Premiership to your local sunday pub team and all the way down to junior leagues, a few commentators condoning it won't change that or get rid of it.

  • Hi Dave, thanks for the reply and I understand your point but it's growing and now needs stamping out by the governing bodies. I want to watch football that showcase skills and not the shirt pulling, tripping and holding that we see today. Whilst football pundits and commentators will not stop it alone it would do no harm to call it out as against the spirit of the beautiful game.
