I'd suggest it's not really the channels which count, it's the fixtures/events which TNT has acquired exclusive rights to.

For example: https://www.tntsports.co.uk/football/premier-league/2023-2024/tnt-sports-extends-uk-premier-league-r...

They also have ' every moment of Olympic Games Paris 2024, the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, cycling’s Grand Tours, including the Tour de France '

However, for many other events Sky has exclusive or majority coverage, including all the rest of the Premier League, F1, most golf and the ATP/WTA tennis.

See this for a list of the TNT sports  channels. You don't get any of them with Sky Sports.

My BT Contract is up for renewal and I already have TNT Sport with them for 1,2,3,4 channels but also have a Sky Sport full package so I am trying to find out if I am duplicating some channels. Its impossible to get any info from either BT or Sky .

No, you aren't duplicating channels.

For some events such as the PL you can only get full televised fixture access by having both services.

Others are entirely on one of the services and without that there's nothing available on its rival.

Almost as if the rights owners are working with the platforms to maximise profit, really...

The Sky Sport package does not include any TNT Sport channels.

Re: Comparison between Sky Sports Complete Package and BT TNT programs

Thank you. Trying to get information out of either organisation is like spending time in an all night dentist !! I, m 87 and upto now I have had 5 different quotes from BT for the renewal, each one different and no one knows where the other ones originate from in different parts of the country and I,ve now received new equipment which is the same as that which they want me to send back.

Theres an expression something about organising some drinks in a brewery !!!

Again thanks for your help.

BT is particularly confused at the moment, both with the transfer of BT Sport to TNT (in partnership with Warner Bros Discovery) and through the wider move of all BT domestic services to the EE brand.
