I have received notification that Eurosport is to become part of TNT at end of February so hope we don't lose it through Sky as I refuse to pay another fee for TNT on Sky

I have merged your post to this existing thread that is discussing the same topic.
Eurosport will cease to exist within the UK & Ireland.

Hi. Yes. T.N.T. Sports has the U.K. and Ireland rights. [N. Ireland and The Republic of Ireland] for a further 2 years. 2025 and 2026. This will include upto 7 matches a week. The London Series. The wild card matches and ALL of the play-off*s and The World Series. The next bidding process is already under way from 2027 onwards and will include T.N.T. Sports U.K. D.A.Z.N. U.K. and Amazon Prime Video U.K. [All bids also include Ireland.[ May not include all services from 2027.]

Excellent thank you very much for the reply.

A pleasure. Just to confirm from 2027 It does not mean all or any of those channels will win. T.N.T. Sports are favourites to win on thier own as now. An interesting report this morning and this is a real blast from the past. Screensport [The original European Sports Network from 1984 until 1993 when merging with Eurosport might be making a comeback if the backers are avaliable. So they would certainly be in the running for Basebal as before . So watch this space as they say.

@Dec712 wrote:Hi does anybody know if TNT Sports will be broadcasting Live Major League Baseball this year as they are still showing archive programme from MLB so i guess they still have the rights to it.
Declan
It's complicated since it's licenced from ESPN International

I think Sunday Night Baseball comes from ESPN the other games come from MLB network themselves

I'm a snooker and athletics fan which I watch both sports on Eurosports. i just found out that Eurosport 1 and 2 channels will be closing down come 28th Feb 2025 in 2 weeks time an those sports will move to TNT sports. As I have a Sky Sports subscription. Does Sky have plans to show snooker and athletics within the Sky Sports Subscription? Currently Eurosports is part the Sky subscription package for a long time now.

Currently Eurosports is part the Sky subscription package for a long time now. Sky can't just show sports they don't have the rights to, they remain with WBD/TNT and don't transfer to Sky if a channel closes.

Sky don't want you to give them £29. TNT Sports / Warner do. And isn't it £31?
I only watch cycling so won't be paying. I suspect the team sponsors will be getting a lot fewer eyeballs in the UK & Ireland this year.

Eurosport UK is closing at the end of the month Sky has told me nothing about how future programmes will change but they want me to pay an extra £29 a month to watch cycling. Anyone found an option? I dont watch football
Your T&Cs you agreed to allow for channel line up changes. Sky don't have any control over Eurosport or it's content, it's TNT/Warner Brothers Discovery who have those rights.

Not so far. My husband only watches the cycling and no other sport so paying in the region of £30 seems exorbitant. What bothers me is I currently only have Sky broadband so Sky keep ringing me to sell me a tv package and they are still saying Eurosport is part of the basic package. When I queried this the lady on the phone claimed she knew nothing of Eurosport not being available after 28/2. Taki
ng money under false pretences...
