Re: Closure of Eurosport channels 28/02/25

In the U.K. I have not found Max. On Amazon Prime Video it is £6.99 p a month for all Discovery channels and Eurosport. With T.N.T. Sports 4 channels and all streams at £ 30 a month.

Max hasnt laucnhed in the UK yet - it will launch in early 26.

Until then TNT Sports streaming stuff is on Discovery+.

Once Max as a platform launches, TNT Sprts streaming stuff will be within a TNT Sports "tile" of the Max app latform.

Well I have just put a complaint into the Advertising Standards Aurthority.

As of today Sky are still advertising on the packages you get Discovery+ which stream 300 days of cycling - including the Tour De France - Snooker, motorsports and more.

Tnt sports and eurosport

Hi wondering if anyone knows how eurosport going to tnt sports will work in Ireland. Will the TNT sports app be made available in Ireland (it's currently not).

Will it be possible to stream the coverage on demand on my sky stream box or will it be like bbc where we can't stream there programmes in Ireland as we don't have access to to the player.

As annoying as that is, I think it is factually correct as of right now...

Be a different story in 25 days though

It's an interesting one, in theory with the news public about the Eurosport closure it could be considered misselling of 24 month contracts if still publicly promoting that the Eurosport sporting events is available for all subscribers.

Sky TNT

So Euro Sport has been bought out by TNT

What plans do you have to maintain Euro sport to Sky Customers?

@Givemeone  There are no plans as sky can't maintain Eurosport for sky customers has it wont exist from 28th February

If you want to continue watching what was available on Eurosport you will need to upgrade to tnt sports

I agree with the other poster, this simply shouldn't be shown on pages with 24 month contracts

No Eurosport is owned by WBD. They then aquired BT Sport (now TNT Sport). It is WBD's decision to merge Eurosport with TNT sport and charge a full subscription. Sky have no input in what WBD do, it's their package, all Sky can do is negotiate access. If they didn't you would have to subscribe through Discovery+ with no EPG channels. You would just use the Discovery+ app.

It depends if you've signed up for 24 months or on a 31 day rolling contract you still get Discovery + included on both contracts

So failing to see what your post actually means @Timelord2018
