Re: Changes to the TV Guide - June 2025
@82bit No one can tell you when or of we'll get rewind TV, it's not something fellow customers can answer, Sky staff can't tell you either as any commercial agreements are confidential, if it does arrive i'm sure it will be posted, but not before.

Re: Changes to the TV Guide - June 2025
Kind of strange that Glass/Stream is Sky's preferred new (and renewing) customer product, yet new channel launches seem mostly pushed towards their satellite services. I understand it's almost always the third party who chooses when and where to launch their stations, but surely Sky could do more to encourage them not to forget us IP customers too!

ITV Quiz is just a rebrand of ITVBe.

That would likley be due to the differing platforms, pretty much anyway can broadcast via satelliete providing you have the equipment and a broadcasting license whereas the streaming platform is a closed platform which means that in order for broadcasters to come onto Sky's platform they would need a whole host of legal, financial and technical agreements in place with Sky.

Thanks for sharing. It's similar to Challenge. Wonder if it will replace this one @Marlu-Nyu

It only seems similar to Challenge in that its dedicated to quiz/game shows. From looking at the schedule, unless i'm mistaken isn't Tenable the only show that is also broadcast on Challenge. Challenge is more archived content whereas the look of the ITV Quiz schedule is its more repeats of current ITV shows e.g the newer series of Wheel Of Fortune with Graham Norton, and the newer Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? with Jeremey Clarkson rather than the classic 90s earlier 00s shows.
Got to be honest very surprised to not see The Chase on that schedule

I would expect that when Sky's contract is due for renewal with ITV for shows on Challenge, I would expect Challenge to be given more archival shows. For example, currently Sky have rights to The Chase series 1 - 11, they may only get e.g. series 1-4 with the remainder going to ITV Quiz. This could happen for other ITV shows shown on Challenge too. On the other hand, Sky's contract may not be renewed and all ITV shows will be shown on ITV Quiz.
This is only my own speculation; but with the launch of ITV Quiz, it's plausible that Sky's and ITV's contract is due to renew/expire between now and the near-future. Maybe they're giving Sky time to find replacements or decide what to do with Challenge.
