So Sky will be reducing my monthly HD fee as a result?? Thought not. I tried to move to Sky Stream recently despite it not being g nearly as good as Sky Q and the price quoted actually went up!

The content in HD from these channels that uktv closed down the satellite HD channels is still available to stream through sky q.

Which stations are still broadcast in HD on satellite in Ireland, but not in england?

 

I checked both U&W (Channel 132) and U&Yesterday (channel 161) and both are now SD for the linear channel.

  • U&Alibi HD moves from 130 to 120 on Glass and Stream only in England, NI and Wales. They remain unchanged in Scotland and ROI
  • U&Gold HD moves from 131 to 121 on Glass and Stream only in England, NI and Wales. They remain unchanged in Scotland and ROI
  • U&Dave HD moves from 132 to 130 on Glass and Stream only in England, NI and Wales. They remain unchanged in Scotland and ROI
  • U&W HD moves from 133 to 131 on Glass and Stream only in England, NI and Wales. They remain unchanged in Scotland and ROI

None of those channels closed, they just moved numbers on glass & stream.

Sky only run the EPG, and does not remove channels unless they break their T&Cs and then Sky can only remove them from the EPG listing not remove them from the satellite platform (they have no control of)
