Changes to the Sky TV guide - September 2022

Keep up with the latest changes to the Sky TV Guide on Sky Q, Sky+ and Sky Glass.

 

This list is updated weekly for the week ahead but may still change.

 

Thursday 1st

 

  • NickJrPeppa (Satellite 613 - Glass 206) renames to NickJrPAWPatrol

  • Nicktoons (Satellite 605 - Glass 204) renames to NickSpongeBob
  • FreeSports HD (422) removed from ROI EPG only

Friday 2nd

 

  • Sky Greats (Satellite 304/849 - Glass 304) renames to LordoftheRings / LdoftheRingsHD

Monday 5th 

 

  • Sky Sports The Hundred (Satellite 404/862 - Glass 862) renames to SkySp Cricket / SkySpCricket HD 

  • Sky Lord Of the Rings (Satellite 304/849 - Glass 304) renames to Sky Greats / Sky Greats HDUKTV number changes on Sky Glass only:
    • Dave HD moves from 130 to 132 in the UK
    • W HD moves from 131 to 133 in the UK
    • Gold HD moves from 132 to 131 in the UK
    • Alibi HD moves from 133 to 130 in the UK
    • Eden moves from 161 to 162 in the UK
    • Yesterday HD moves from 162 to 161 in the UK
    • Dave HD moves from 123 to 125 in ROI
    • W HD moves from 124 to 126 in ROI
    • Gold HD moves from 125 to 124 in ROI
    • Alibi HD moves from 126 to in 123 ROI
    • Eden moves from 157 to 158 in ROI
    • Yesterday HD moves from 158 to 157 in ROI

Tuesday 6th 

 

  • HUM Masala launches to ​EPG number 720​ on Sky Glass

  • HUM Europe launches to ​EPG number 721 on Sky Glass
  • Geo News launches to ​EPG number 722 on Sky Glass
  • Geo TV launches to ​EPG number 723 on Sky Glass
  • PTC Punjabi launches to ​EPG number 740 on Sky Glass

Tuesday 6th 

 

  • Great! movies classic/+1 (Satellite - 319/320) renames to Great! xmas/+1

Friday 9th 

 

  • Back To School (Satellite 302 - Glass 302) renames to SkyEdgarWright / EdgarWrightHD

Monday 12th 

 

  • Sky Edgar Wright (Satellite 302 - Glass 302) changes name to SkyMegaHits / SkyMegaHitsHD

Friday 16th 

 

  • Sky Cinema Comedy (Satellite 308 - Glass 308) changes name to SkyRomComsHD 

Friday 23rd

 

  • Sky Rom Coms (Satellite 308 - Glass 308) changes name to Sky Comedy HD

Tuesday 27th

 

  • Channel 4 South HD launches to 804 - smart swapped to 104 EXCEPT in Wales where it launches to 829/108 on Satellite

  • Channel 4 Midlands HD launches to 804 - smart swapped to 104 on Satellite

  • Channel 4 North HD launches to 804 - smart swapped to 104 on Satellite

  • Channel 4 Scotland HD launches to 804 - smart swapped to 104 on Satellite

  • Channel 4 Ulster HD launches to 804 - smart swapped to 104 on Satellite

  • Channel 4 ROI HD launches to 829 - smart swapped to 135 on Satellite

  • Channel 4 London HD moves from 138 to 804 - smart swapped to 104 - and now available in London bouquets only on Satellite

  • E4 Extra (139) moves to 138 on Satellite

  • Sky Sci-Fi (152) moves to 139 on Satellite

  • E! (151) moves to 159 on Satellite

  • Pick (159) moves to 151 on Satellite

  • Challenge (160) moves to 152 on Satellite

Thursday 29th

 

  • Sky Megahits (Satellite 302 - Glass 302) changes name to Orig V Remake / OrigVRemakeHD 

  • PCNE Chinese SD closes. The HD channel moves from 897 to 791 on Satellite

Friday 30th

 

  • Sky Cinema Sci-Fi & Horror (Satellite 311 - Glass 311) swaps EPG numbers with Sky Cinema Greats (Satellite 304 - Glass 304

That is correct because as present for you it is on 138 but from Tuesday it is moving to 104.

@caesarome thanks all i need now is bbc one HD to move to 101 then all HDs will be at the top of the guide on Q

104 has never been Channel 4 HD for me...until today.

Until today Channel 4 HD was only on 104 in the London region due to advertising differences.

@Super+Anthony  I haven't had it either until today whether it was because I don't have the entertainment hd add on I don't know 

 

are you in ROI by any chance as that might be the reason you had it

 

@Skull+Treaty do you have the entertainment hd add on?

 

having said the above I think it's down to the fact that not all regional variations of channel 4 have been available in hd until today hence the change for most people if not all

No,I am in the UK. Maybe it's cause I have the HD programmes.
