This list is updated weekly for the week ahead but may still change.

Sunday 1st 

• Sky Christmas (Satellite 303) renames to Sky Drama/Sky Drama HD

Tuesday 3rd

• Trace Xmas (Satellite 359) changes name to Trace Hit
• Sky Greats (Satellite 304/849 - Glass 304) renames to SkyBritishIcons / BritishIcons HD

Wednesday 4th

• Sky Sports Darts (Satellite 408/866 - Glass 408) renames to SkySp Arena/SkySp ArenaHD

Thursday 5th

• BoXmas (Satellite 355 - Glass 355) renames to The Box 
• Classic Hits (Satellite 366) renames to That's 60s
• GREAT!christmas (Satellite 319) changes name to GREAT! romance
• GREAT!christmas+1 (Satellite 320) changes name to G! romance+1
• Thane (Satellite 679) closes
• Smithsonian and Smithsonian HD (Satellite 171/843 - Glass 167/159(ROI)) closes
• Sky Cinema Drama (Satellite 303 - Glass 303) swaps EPG numbers with Hits (Satellite 310 - Glass 310)
• BBC Two Northern Ireland HD launches - channel numbers below:

  • Launches into 802 in NI and smart swaps with BBC Two Northern Ireland at 102

  • Launches into 970 in the UK

• BBC Two Northern Ireland HD (ROI) launches into 844 in Ireland only - smart swapped with BBC Two NI (ROI) in 142
• BBC Two England HD moves from 115 to 970 in NI Only
• BBC Three moves from 117 to 115 in NI only
• BBC Two HD (ROI) (347) closes

Friday 6th

• Christmas24 (Satellite 325 - Glass 313)​ renames to Movies24 
• Christmas24+ (Satellite 326 - Glass 314)​ renames to Movies24+

Friday 13th 

• ​Sky Hits (Satellite 303 - Glass 303) changes name to​  Sky Twilight / SkyTwilightHD (temporary)
• ​Wizarding World (Satellite 302 - Glass 302) renames to Sky Feel Good/SkyFeelGoodHD (temporary)
• Sky Sci-Fi & Horror (Satellite 311 - Glass 311) renames to SkyDystopia / SkyDystopiaHD (temporary)
• Sky Dystopia (Satellite 311 - Glass 311) swaps EPG numbers with British Icons (Satellite 304 - Glass 304) (temporary)

Monday 16th January

• ​British Icons (Satellite 304/849 - Glass 304) renames to Sky Greats / Sky Greats HD
• Sky Twilight (Satellite 303 - IP 303) changes name to​ ​Sky Hits / Sky Hits HD 
• ​That's 60s EPG 366 moves to EPG 365 prior to launch of new channel (That's 80s) at EPG 366 on satellite
• That's 80s launches to EPG 366 on Satellite

Tuesday 17th January

• BBC One Oxford (101 & 965) closes on Satellite and Glass - sub region absorbed into BBC One South
• BBC One East W (101 & 962) closes on Satellite and Glass - sub region absorbed into BBC One East (East)
• ​BBC One East (East) 961 on Satellite changes name to BBC One East following the BBC One East (West) closure
• BBC One East (East) HD 101 changes name to BBC One East HD on Glass

Thursday 19th January

• ​Sky Dystopia (Satellite 311 - Glass 311) renames to Sky ScFi/Horror / Sky ScFi/HorHD
• SC Greats (Satellite 311 - Glass 311) swaps EPG numbers with SC Sci Fi Horror (Satellite 304 - Glass 304)

Monday 23rd January

​BBC One regional channels made available to all UK on Sky Glass at the following numbers:

951        BBC One Scotland

952        BBC One Wales

953        BBC One N. Ireland

954       BBC One Lon

955        BBC One NE&C

956       BBC One Yorks

957        BBC One Yk&Li

958       BBC One North West

959       BBC One West Midlands

960       BBC One East Midlands

961        BBC One East   

963       BBC One South East (TW)

964       BBC One South (SO)

966       BBC One West

967        BBC One South West (PY)

968       BBC One Channel Islands

Tuesday 24th January

All of the below BBC changes are satellite only - Sky Glass is unaffected

• BBC One SD Nightlight launches at 101 initially for BBC South on Jan 24th, and gradually in the other regions as they go HD

The BBC One Nightlight services will smart swap with the new HD regional services that launch at 801 in the coming weeks

• BBC One SD (ROI) Nightlight launches at  141 in Ireland
• ​BBC One South HD launches to 801 (smart swapped with BBC One SD Nightlight at 101) and replaces BBC One South SD at 964
• ​BBC One NI SD (953/101) closes - existing BBC One NI HD remains at 979 and 801 (801 smart swapped with BBC One SD Nightlight at 101)
• BBC One NI SD ROI replaced by BBC One SD ROI Nightlight at 141 (smart swapped with BBC One NI HD ROI at 832)
• ​BBC Two NI SD (972/102) closes - existing BBC Two NI HD remains at 970 and 802 (802 smart swapped with BBC Two England at 102)
• ​BBC Two NI SD ROI replaced by BBC Two England ROI at 142 (smart swapped with BBC Two NI HD ROI at 844)
• BBC Two England ROI closes at 969 in ROI
• BBC Two England closes at 969 in NI

Wednesday 25th January

• ​Feel Good (Satellite 302 - Glass 302) changes name to JurassicWorld / JurassicWrldHD 

Thursday 26th January

• ​PBC launches to EPG number 775 on satellite

Friday 27th January

• ​Sky Hits (Satellite 303 - Glass 303) changes name to​ SkySpider-Man and Spider-Man HD

According to the BBC site the upgrade is due to be complete by April but it doesn't mention when some may be upgraded which I think will be staggered by Region rather than all at once & I suspect nearer April rather than during January

It will also depend on which region your receive and  then when that region gets upgraded

FYI, just in case you did not know, you can pin any thread to the top of the forum that you want yourself using the option in the threads Options menu "Float this topic for current user" 🙂 This is not the same as the CMs doing it as they can pin for everyone 🙂

All BBC One regions will be in HD before 1 April, 2023.

BBC have just released the full HD upgrade schedule here:
