I am in the same situation...same message but reading the previous comments it looks like its a bigger problem than they first thought as it is still not solved...Lets hope they find a solution soon

Just added Apple TV to the apps on my Smart TV and it works fine once I signed in.

Had the same issue for the last 5 days. Just called Sky and they are aware of the problem and have been told that are working on a fix but have no time scale. 
I have resorted to downloading the Apple app to the fire stick as works perfectly through that.

I have had the same issue for over a week and I've seen previous posts advising a fix was being completed 'that evening' but the fault remains. Is there a timeframe for when this new fix will be completed?

Every time I try the app it says I have no internet connection- all the other app

like Netflix and Disney work fine. Any suggestions please?
