Same here for a few days haven't been able to get Apple TV, says internet not working - try again- but it is. Can get Apple TV on other tv via sky and on phone via sky. 
obviously an Apple TV/sky issue as all other apps work fine

No point getting an engineer out. Hundreds suffering the same problem. Clearly an Apple TV app update gone wrong. Seems to be international too.

Definitely not just a sky problem,  we have friends with Virgin media that have the exact same 'couldn't connect' message, Virgin say it's an Apple issue. Saw a news article online stating 'thousands of users ran into problems on December 12th and given the widespread nature of the outage , the fix will likely come from Apples side. For now the cause of the outage remains unknown and Apple TV has not addressed the issue publicly'.  Looks like we might will have to sit tight until they sort it.

It's not working on our Sky Glass. All apps have been refreshed, TV unplugged etc but no change.  We can mirror Apple to the TV though...

Post 160 worked for me. But what a palava had to sign in to all my apps again ... but at least I have Apple TV again

Apple tv app not working

The apple tv app on sky will not connect. I just get a 'check your Internet connection and try again ' There is nothing wrong with my connection and the app has been like this for 5 days now

Apple and our support teams have advised that they will be implementing a fix this evening, which should resolve the problems that some customers have been experiencing.

AppleTV+

Apple TV has stopped working on my Sky Q box yesterday , all other apps work fine and I can connect to Apple TV on other devices. Have done software update and reboot of box by taking power cable out. This problem has been on the forum at the beginning of the month.  Any advice most welcome. thanks
