Apple Tv just started working again on my Sky Q box, so looks like someone applied a patch overnight... hope it's started working again for the rest of you!

Finally!  Love the fact that it now works, but extremely annoyed that it took so many days for it to get sorted. 1st world problem, i know, but a major inconvenience.  Not sure if it's Apple TV's fault or Sky.  Anyway, all sorted so that's good.

I did try to message on Monday that I spoke to Apple TV support.

because it was bt broadband and sky broadband had increased their security port(?) that they were blocking the app and had issues with other broadband users. Promised they were months case and would be sorted in couple of days.

not checked ours today because at work but good to know you have it back

Mine is working this morning too. No resets or anything required, just to sign in to apple tv.

Apple TV app not opening on SkyQ

When I try to open the Apple Tv app it says it cannot open it and to check internet connection. I have done all that and rebooted the sky Q box but the problem remains. I can access the Apple Tv outside of SkyQ.

 

How do I fix the Apple TV app which worked perfectly on Sky Q until a few days ago?

I'm not even getting plaintext error messages. Just a malformed sign in box (first line in bold, last two are buttons). As of 5 minutes ago, first noticed last night:

ATVE.SignInFlow.ExpiredToken.Headline

ATVE.SignInFlow.SignInAgain.WebQR.Explanation

ATVE.Alert.Button.SignIn

ATVE.Alert.Button.Cancel

@jaaed01 that's what I had on my Sky Mini box but it allowed me to signin using the QR code but it cycled through 3 QRs before logging in.....
