@KevNewMedia why has this not been resolved yet? Surely Sky should be prioritising this issue. That's 4 days and still not sorted!

Hi all I hadn't noticed the app on my sky puck wasn't working but assumed there was/is a issue with sky Puck.

tonight i couldn't get on apple on my tv app but after a bit of messing around I found that I had to sign out completely and sign back in and start again and this worked.

but on the Puck I cannot do this but I think if I could it may work because it's all working now on my tv.

Maybe if they log us all out and we sign back in this may work ?

We didn't create this problem so we shouldn't have to fix it ourselves. We are not all tech savvy. I tried following instructions and it dit work for me. It's only through Sky Q that it's not working so Sky should sort it out!

@caesarome thanks for your response,  its on a Skyq box.  Did a reset,  not the factory one,  and then updated the software, and its all back to normal.  Think it was a problem with Apple ID and logging in.

Still not working-  I can't get the app to load on either my sky box or ny bt box yet will load on my phone.  Have restarted router and boxes.  This is an Apple app issue on tvs.

New to sky community, so not sure how it works, has this issue been fixed yet. I called sky who ran various tests and have arranged for an engineer to come out on Monday as they think the issue is my sky q box (fyi i can watch Spe tv on my multi toom box) is there any point in engineer coming out if this is a wider issue. Thanks

Yup, same issue on a Sky Stream. Had been working fine but noticed it wasn't working over the weekend.

Apple TV works fine on our smart TV and on other devices, its just Sky Stream that says "Could Not Connect to Apple TV".

Have tried the reboot and the refresh apps. Still not working.

 

Hopefully Sky will fix it....eventually....

Fourth day now of not being able to connect to Apple TV. Family and kids frustrated as they were looking forward to watching the conclusion of their favourite shows and may start some more for the holidays (beginning this week). Yes, there are social conmcerns about screen time, and ouir kids do like playing outside, but we are paying for this service so it should be available as advertised - and we shouldn't have to fix the issue ourselves by following long buried instructions from people whose credentials we cannot verify and which, from the evidence here, do not work for a good proportion of the people who have tried them. 

This is simply appalling customer service. We have yet to hear from Apple or Sky about this.

I called sky customer service yesterday the 15th and was told it would be fixed by the end of the day, it has not.

 

So we are paying for a service we can't access
