I also have the same issue. It is frustrating Sky are not posting an explanation or solution. It's the Christmas season and most things I would like to watch are on Apple TV - so feeling very disappointed with Sky.

Come on @Sky, it's clearly a huge problem.... when are you going to get this fixed? Some communication would be good, considering we're all paying for this "service"

We have the same issue (now Dec 14th) As a work around, we're running Apple TV through our Roku and that works fine. if you have that as an option, try Roku instead. Take heart that it's not just you and your Sky Q.

This solution from earlier in the threads has worked for me (thanks to a few users):

 

1) access installer menu (highlight "settings", press "0,0,1" then "select" on remote).

2) select option to reset SkyQ box (not factory reset or hard drive reset).

3) once done, need to pair the remote again so it can control the box.

4) repeat step 1 again, then select option to "refresh apps".

**** I didn't have to do this next step as it started working - but I have included from the earlier posts :

5) once complete, unplug SkyQ box for 30secs....then power up.  *****

 

You will then need to sign in to all the apps again....Apple, Netflix, Prime etc.

Having the same issue as many other since 11th December. All my apps work except Apple TV.

Get the message 'Could not connect to Apple TV Check your internet connection and try again:' with 2 'buttons': 'Exit App' or 'Try Again'

 

My internet's fine, all other Apps load ok on Sky box & I can watch Apple TV on my other devices. 

I really don't fancy resetting the box and then having to log into everything again, chances are Apple TV may still not work but you have gone through lots of faff and grief. Need Sky to fix this issue. When will it be fixed so customers do not have to do loads of resetting?

This solution does work tho. With the QR code thing logging back into each app takes about 8 seconds.
