I'm trying to watch sky sports golf and the american commentators are constantly talking rubbish .
There is a woman on there today just talking and criticising everything.
I pay a lot of money for my sky , I don't want to here this rubbish.

There is nothing Sky can do as they are not the host broadcaster so they have to take what they are given with regards to the coverage.

How about turning the volume off, then you won't hear them. Surely most sports don't really need a commentator, it's obvious what's going on with visuals alone. Plus there are all the stats spread all over the screen giving you information, what more do you need?

Sounds like another vote for discovery's ambient sound setting. But yes so much commentary across all sports now is abysmal.
Talk as much as possible without referencing what's actually happening.

I've said for many a year now that there is nothing new to say when it comes to sports, especially football, & yet somehow, a 90-minute game is allotted a 3-hour time slot on TV so that pundits can waffle on about nothing in particular.
@fatsnakes As you gave me a Like I'll take your reply to me as being genuine rather than sarcastic ( it's always hard to recognise sarcasm in print ), so I'm glad to have helped. Hope it works for you.
