Re: Andy Hinchcliffe, Sky Sports.

Just found out it was Andy Hinchcliffe who ruined yet another TV game with incessant gabbling.  (Coventry v WBA) as co commentator.
He's contribution is infuriating & needless.
He tells you what you've just seen with your own eyes.

He talks about the 'bleedin' obvious'.

He's seems obsessed to fill any gap the commentator leaves

(what must they think?)
it's gratifying to see I'm not alone in my thoughts.
How is he still there?
For goodness sake Mr Hinchcliffe if you are staying, take a listen to Messrs Neville & Carragher & just add something of value not verbal diarrhoea.

Re: Andy Hinchcliffe, Sky Sports.

How is Andy Hinchcliffe still in a job. My heart sinks when I hear his incessant drivel. Just ridiculous. Coventry v Ipswich this time. Another match ruined. For gods sake put an off switch on. You add NOTHING to the game. @skysports GET RID!

Re: Andy Hinchcliffe, Sky Sports.

Sky, please get rid of andy himcliffe as an analysist.  His constant talking totally spoils the game. No other analysist speaks as much as him. Its not helpful or constructive .

He does rattle but I'm more interested in watching the game than listening to him waffle on so don't really notice it.

Re: Andy Hinchcliffe, Sky Sports.

I watched the Wrexham match last night.
I switched it over to the two owners commentary as soon as I knew it was that ANDY HINCHCLIFFE. He started his verbage at a breathless 100 mph again. He must get paid by the word. He spoils it EVERY TIME he's on with this style.
I'm glad I did switch it over because I found it very entertaining and RELAXING watch expertly guided by the Sky commentator. He should take Hinchcliffe's place and Hinchcliffe should go back to commentary school!
I know that everybody I speak to feels the same and when there is no other option pressses the mute button.

Re: Andy Hinchcliffe, Sky Sports.

  • Please, please don't let Andy Hinchcliffe anywhere near a microphone next season. He spoils every game with his constant 100mph talking. Full of would have, could have and should haves. The number of times he says, "just stay on your feet"....when the players HAVE stayed on their feet! The number of times i shout 'shut up' during a game! He should take a lesson from the likes of Alan Smith where less is more. I'm sure he's a nice bloke but commentating at football games is not the job he should be doing.

BLOODY HINCHCLIFFE

I cringe every time i hear him.

He talks too mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho...

I agree with everything that you say and so does every one i talk to and there's a collective moan goes round the pub of I watch a match down there and he's on.

Why is he still employed?

I wish Sky would get a feel for how people think and read this blog!!!!!

Re: Andy Hinchcliffe, Sky Sports.

Andy Hinchcliffe gives the impression he won 3 or 4 Ballon D'or's in his career & never made any mistake when he was a player.

All he does is criticise every player & what they do.

If it was constructive criticism it would be fine but all he does is use destructive criticism.

The only reason I can think of as to why Sky employ him is because they no longer have the high standards they used to have, so our of desperation they employed him because their standards seem to be "Sky are desperate, so any old ex footballer will do"

Re: Andy Hinchcliffe, Sky Sports.

Couldn't agree more.  He talks incessant rubbish on everything that happens and totally spoils the  watching experience.  I have to mute the game
