2023 British Golf Open Championship

Hello,

I noticed an article dated July 2019 saying sky had the tv rights for showing the British golf open championship through to 2024. Has this changed. I can't find any news saying this years championship is being covered by sky, anyone know what's happening with the coverage?

Tv sports rights tend to only be announced if they are up for renewal and have new.

So british open rights are to 2024 so the next announcement will be when the next rights come up in 2025

But at start of the year, sky had a advertising article

They state all golf majors, ryder Cup, and solheim Cup are "being shown live on Sky Sports"

Its definitely on Sky.....and hopefully in 'true' UHD/HDR (we live in hope)

That article doesn't actually mention the US Open, which I don't think Sky currently have the rights to. They may get these before the event, and they have the other majors including the British Open.

Just to update this, Sky Sports News have now confirmed that they have done a three year deal for the US Open Golf, the one major not originally included.
