I've had no previous problem but suddenly I cannot login to my Sky account on my personal PC via a Sky Router.
I can log in via iPhone, iPad and my work PC through the same Sky router. Cleared the cache in MS Edge and Chrome and neither will access Sky. Tried with and without the usual VPN. Turned off Windows Defender and tried but same result.
Error messages are :
Chrome
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://skyid.sky.com/AK_PM_VPATH0/" on this server.

I'd suggest, as @Ado posted there, that you post again if it doesn't sort itself out within 48 hours.
When I experienced the same issue it was indeed resolved within a couple of days without me needing to contact Sky.

Over the holidays I've been able to login in on two days but otherwise it's the same error message on my personal PC. Firefox didn't work either.
Strange I can access via all other devices including my work PC but not my personal PC.

I am getting exactly the same problem, with the same message. The ealier thread referred to was inconclusive, the cause isn't known so there is no effective help.
I'm using Sky router, there are no other issues and the probem presents across differtn browsers.
It's not really good enough to say "just wait".
Has anyone had any more sucess or any insight into a fix?

Cheers. That's next on the list, at the moment there is lot of traffic (downloading & streaming by others in the house), and I have work to finish off. I don't think the OP or others found that helped, but have to try.

@caesaromealthough I've been able to log on from time to time, the issue persisits despite (a) rebooting my Sky hub; and (b) attemting log on to Sky from another hub altogether; (c) attempting log on from another PC
Any ideas on fix or next action?

And wierdly I can log into Sky Community ok and if I do, that lets me log into My Sky!

Odd. The usual cause is the IP address issue. No idea why it's intermittent in your case. I had the same error today, but it was because someone else had previously logged into the PC and was using a VPN, which presumably is still in memory somewhere.

I would like to know the specific cause for this. My REGISTERED Area 51m cannot currently get online while my budget smartphone has ZERO problems.

No idea what a 'REGISTERED Area 51' is, and I don't think a specific cause has been identified. Are you using a VPN?
