landline phone wont work since installation of sky

since having sky q installed several weeks ago I haven't been able to send or receive calls on my landline.  tried ringing the sky helpline but found there terminogly quiet confusing and over whelmimg . my Broadband is fine. No issues in local area  , checked phone line sky said nothing wrong it, tried the step by step checks but that didn't help. Has anyone got a diagram which might make more sence to me. i have 2 connections coming out of my bt talk talk wall socket ones goes to a purple slot in router the other cable to my phone. also have a plug socket from phone to plug hole in wall.

@jkl if you still need help, tell is if your broadband router has a light labelled 'Voice' and if so, whether it's lit.

 

We can then help with your phone connection.

If your address has been provisioned with Sky Talk on VOIP, the handset now connects to the 'phone' port on the rear of the Sky Broadband Hub.  There's no longer a voice signal at the wall socket.

Same problem with landline not working after sky glass tv installed. My new router has light marked 'voice' but does not illuminate. Can anyone help ? Please !!!! Confused 80++
