@Marusa try turning off your Max Hub for 15 minutes (if you have full fibre turn off your ONT at the same time). Failing that, it's best reported to Sky. We can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat, if you wish.

I reported last week and haven't heard from sky since. Turned off the box and put it back, this didn't help. There is no test button for landline on the help page, all it is testing is broadband.

Just to add it would be good to know if actually anything is being checked on your side. We are second week now with no landline and my husband missed the call from GP.

What type of cable do I need to connect from phone connection to hub as  I have just switched from BT and did not require a cable to hub for that.  I need a cable but old does not fit into the white hun uk phone socket.  Thanks Gail

At the Hub end, the cable needs to terminate with a standard UK telephone plug like this:

My landline is nt working

Hi I keep getting in touch since the engineer came 12.44 today fitted the new broadband my phone isn't working  I need help as soon as possible Mrs S.Hassan

@Mysky234 expecting a reply within 1 minute is somewhat entitled. And anyway we're a customer Community not Sky customer services.

As you can see replies are not instant it's not a chat service and we are not Sky customer services.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

As I Have explained my phone doesn't work since they changed my broadband today at 12.44pm I need an engineer I think the problem is outside as we have done everything on Troubleshooting and it didn't help please deal with this as urgent Mrs Sezgin Hassan

Hi @Mysky234 

 

All other users on this forum are customers and only the moderators are Sky employees.

 

If you've had your broadband upgrades today then assuming you're now on Sky Talk with Internet calls where you plug your phone into the back of the Sky router.

 

What colour router do you have?

It may also take 48 hours for the phone service to become active and a restart of the router maybe required.

Hi, I have the same issue as @Jen263. My land line phone is not working, i have checked my broadband and wifi and they are all working well. how do I get help from sky? Can any one help?
