free 195 directory enquiries for disabled person

Hello

My parents have Sky Talk. My mother has very poor vision. I have spken to BT Directory Enquiries and she is eligible for their 195 registration  -where she can phone directory enquriries for free. The most important parts of this service are:

1. Whether she can get free connection to the number she wants to call by calling 195 and asking them to connect her. I think this should be possible via Sky Talk (not Sky Mobile) and then she is just charged for susequent call, not for the connection being made. Would like to check if I am correct in this.

2. She tends to phone people back who have called her by using 1471 and then the call back option  -which is expensive. BT say that for their customrers registered for 195 service they waive the call back charge. Do you know if this is the case with Sky Talk.

She has a separate mobile provider.

Thank you!

Sharon

So far as I'm aware Sky don't offer a 195 service. It's not listed in their Specialised Number Guide.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I found it on Free directory enquiries – 195 service | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com

I had already spoken to BT and they said that Mum would be eligible even though Sky customer.

@Sharon122 well done on finding it! I'll keep it in mind for any future enquiries (no pun intended).
