I've just signed up to sky broadband with pay as you talk so have a landline number but do you get given a telephone??

No, Sky don't provide a handset with any of their phone packages.

No, Sky don't provide a handset with any of their phone packages.

I don't know for certain, but I suspect that's a legacy thing. I don't think any service provider provides a handset nowadays.

BT gives SOGEA (usually FTTP) customers the option of receiving one (or more) of their proprietary 'WiFi' phones 'free'.
