Will alarm work on my land line with sky talk?

Will my alrm sytem that is tied to my copper phone line work with Sky Talk

It will need to be connected to your Sky Broadband Hub, rather than hardwired to the phone line, as I imagine it currently is. Best to speak to your alarm system provider who will know whether it's compatible and how to connect it.

@LOC  Have you spoken to the alram company about the fact you are to loose your copper line and going on to internet calls.

@LOC  Your alarm company should be able to upgrade trhe panel to work either over wifi or the mobile network.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

If the system uses a dial-up modem to communicate with a monitoring centre then no, that cannot work once there's no longer an analogue phone service at the address.

 

As indicated above, it's the job of the alarm manufacturers and monitoring providers to modify their products to be compliant with the end of PSTN, not the ISPs.
