Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt will need to be connected to your Sky Broadband Hub, rather than hardwired to the phone line, as I imagine it currently is. Best to speak to your alarm system provider who will know whether it's compatible and how to connect it.

If the system uses a dial-up modem to communicate with a monitoring centre then no, that cannot work once there's no longer an analogue phone service at the address.
As indicated above, it's the job of the alarm manufacturers and monitoring providers to modify their products to be compliant with the end of PSTN, not the ISPs.
