Sky talk does not currently allow callers to leave a message if we are unable to answer the phone at the time. However our BT 4600 telephone has the facility for callers to leave a message. How do we enable this in Sky Talk??

If you want to use your phone's built-in answering service, you can. There's nothing Sky needs to do to enable that.

I'd add that where an ISP/telco server-based answering service has a short trigger time, unanswered calls will never land on a local handset recording.

Thanks for your message. How do I check this out?

If you DO activate Sky's service, it's highly likely that it will pick up the call before your own phone based answering service gets the chance to do so.
