Unable to make or receive calls - no dialling tone
Unable to make or receive calls - no dialling tone.
Broadband is working fine.
No changes to set up.
Power going to base unit.
Handset advises check phone line.
Phone purchased less than 6 months ago.
Followed all sky advice - no resolution.
Thoughts welcomed!

Internet calls? Is the phone plugged into your broadband Hub? Or standard calls?

Thank you for your advice.
Sorry for the thick reply..... how do I test the line? I've no spare handset, I've dialled 17070 - nothing. Rang it from my mobile (on my mobile it just rings out, but the landline itself is silent)....
We have one line from the master socket to the router (which is working fine) a separate connection from the master socket to the base unit.

The only thing left is to try the Service Status check, if you haven't already. The link is in the same help guide. Unfortunately it only highlights large outages, so won't pinpoint any issues with just your line.
If it doesn't show anything, you'll have to report it to Sky I'm afraid. If you have a Sky mobile, you can call them on 150, or other contact options here: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Account-Billing/Want-to-private-message-Sky/ba-p/4895295

We initially tried the service check & it shows no issues.
Just returned from holiday & everything was working fine before we went.
We'll contact Sky.
