Unable to contact a specific landline number from my landline. Can call from my mobile.

I can only contact my friends landline number  via my mobile phone.  My landline says the number does not exist.  No one else is having this issue from their landline contacting them.  They can contact me from their landline to mine and the name appears on my caller display 🤷‍♀️
