Telephone line rings but handset won’t connect

Hi Everyone, 

since the telephone line was connected the telephone handset shows adjust line cord! 

if I call the number it rings but the phone doesn't ring and doesn't seem to be connected into the wall socket which is actually loose on the wall 

 

who should fix the white socket in which the telephone & router plugs? Sky?

@Alyson27How many lights are on your router and what colour are they?

It would probably be OpenReach who come to fix it, but you should initially contact Sky about it. They'll arrange an OpenReach visit.

@Alyson27 if there are 4 lights on your Sky hub the phone should be plugged into the phone socket on the hub notbthe wall socket. Increasingly the old copper phone servive is being replaced bt a service using your broadband router.
