Stop SMS messages to landline?

Is there anyway to stop SMS messages being sent to my landline. Used to have a BT line and it'd read SMS messages out by converting text to speech , with Sky nothing comes thru and just cuts off if I pick up the phone.

Plus if I don't answer the first time they just seem to get resent every half hour.

Trying to access Talk Shield via the App or web just comes up with

@Mark39 which is working for you ? the number or the web site? 

Ill try a different browser as it maybe I have cookie blocking etc, not trying to block a single number just texts as they don't play or do nything on my phone. I just have a basic phone package no free minutes etc

There's no option in the Shield to stop text messages on your landline.

@Mark39 guess I'll keep trying the number, are you on the basic no frills phone too? Just came free with the broadband package

Edit: managed to get thru a couple of times and to the bit where it says press 1 to change curfew , then cuts off amd sometimes doesn't connect at all. Have to keep trying the 0800 number and crossing my fingers. 

On searching around I saw someone had said press 5 to stop messages altogether, so hopefully if it ever connects I'll get the chance to press 5. Incase anyone else is in the same boat later. I'll report back if I ever manage to do it.

@SteveLP the only alternative, I guess, would be to call Sky (on 150) to see if they have a solution, but I suspect they'll have no idea, I'm afraid.....
