Sorry the person you are calling are on another call

Whenever I call my landline number it says " sorry the person you are calling is on another call, please try again later". However no one is on the phone (as I'm at home!). I've tried resetting broadband and unplugged telephone etc. No luck! Broadband seems to be working fine. And Sky TV operating ok. 
Any advice would be amazing.

Can you make calls from your landline phone to your mobile ?

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

As you can see an engineer was required.

But was there an explanation of what it was or did they just say "Sorted"?
