Sky talk, can receive call but can’t dial out

I have been away for a few days. The landline cordless phone dialled out before I went away. Since I've been back I cannot dial out, it's just a constant dialling tone on my cordless phone after the number has dialled. I have tried the same number on my mobile and it works. I have also tryed a old landline phone that has no mains power plug, and there's absolutely no sign of life, no dialling tone or no touch tones. If anyone else has had this situation and has a solution I would be really greatful as have to get hold of my insurance company by the end of week tia

See if you can run this line test to see if a fault is found outside of your property and if something is found you can book an engineer repair, ignore the fact it says it will test your broadband:

Thanks for your help, I have just tried the broadband test and it says everything seems to be working fine. It makes me wonder, airbands been around our neighbourhood recently, if they haven't mucked something up. Wasn't happy they put ladders up on our property without permission to pull a new line to next door

Via your mobile give Sky a call, the number will be free if you are a Sky Mobile customer (the number for this is just 150) or if you have free minutes with your network provider so under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:
