Sky landline call volume very low

The sound on incoming calls on my sky talk landline phone can be very low or inaudible intermittently , is this an area issue ? Or a sky problem ? Anyone had anything similar ?

Surely it's more likely an issue with your particular landline handset.

Thanks but it's a new handset , very frustrating and trying to ge through to an actual person at Sky is almost impossible !

I have the same problem to the point i haave tryed 3 difrent phone 2 new ones and sstill low volume.

as for trying to get ssomeone to talk to its a night mare. online chat menu system dos not work aand keeps going round in loops. could do with someone sorting this out

@Buzzybee1027 if you can still just about hear them, give Sky a call. 150 from your landline phone.

I have tryed 3 phone, 2 new ones and same, i spent over an hour on that silly auto system for help. just got a call from them and they have found a fault (heard this one before) and sending open reach out, them chaps spend that much time up the pole that we share with 7 other propertys my wife askes them if they want a cupa up there or there dinner.

I don't know of of any other way it's likely to be fixed without Openreach investigating?

I have the dual broadband phone socket, but taking telephone calls is a nightmare it's so quiet you have to put finger in other ear to hear, I have tried 3 phones no change, also my WiFi keeps dropping off from 36 to as low as 2.4  sky have been out but never resolved problems
