Sky full fibre broadband+ BT landline handset

Just had sky full fibre broadband fitted. Since then I am unable to make outgoing calls on my BT landline handset, although it accepts incoming calls. Sky adviser just told me they are not compatible and I need to get a new landline phone. Is this correct?

Yes that is correct as they will only work via a BT connection. so you need a DECT cordless phone or any corded one will work via Sky.

I would say that if you're receiving incoming calls your phone is compatible. As @caesarome posted phones designed specifically for BT' s digital voice service won't work but a standard BT phone should be fine
