Sky Talk not receiving incomming calls is there outage in Essex?

Hi I signed up for Sky Talk two weeks ago and my landline has never received incomming calls. I can make outgoing, but not receive any calls.

Sky are saying there is a service outage in my area but it is not showing on the service check page.

i am convinced that it has not been installed correctly! Has anybody else in postcode CM15 (Essex) not been able to receive incomming calls for over a week now?

First, have you checked that your number is what you're expecting it to be? If you switched from another provider it may have changed.

Yes I have checked this and it is the same number

An outage wouldn't just affect incoming calls it would affect outgoing calls as well.

Try the below line test. Disregard it saying it will test your broadband https://www.sky.com/help/articles/fix-phone-problems-start 

If it's still an issue this morning give Sky a call when the lines open later. Just dial 150 free from your landline.
