Unable to make or receive calls on the landline. No calls received since 14 December 2023, and I tried to ring the landline from my mobile and got the message "The number you have called is temporarily unavailable. Please call again later". We haven't noticed as we don't use our landline very often, usually using our mobile phones.

Thanks @Highlinder Looks like I have to ring up. Was hoping to deal with it online rather than hanging on a phone line for ages. Oh well.....

There's no dialtone, I can't ring out, and nobody can call the number. If it was a problem with my phone and I called the number from my mobile, I would hear the ringing tone - but instead I get the "number temporarily unavailable" message, which suggests a problem with the line somewhere. Broadband is working fine. If I click through the test options it leads me to a page which says "call the helpdesk". I was hoping to get the attention of a Sky Employee on here to raise a fault.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear tomorrow you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
