Why would the moderator remove a helpful contact number?

The problem is STILL there months later!!
This is a disgrace. My Mum was very close to getting £960 removed from her bank account via a very slick Amazon scammer. Due to that, she is getting loads of other scammers trying to contact "the gullible old lady'. they must pass around numbers of folk who almost fell for it the first time.? If it wasn't for the fact I set up 2-factor authentication on her bank account to my mobile, she'd definitely be about a grand lighter.
So, enquiring how to block telephone numbers on her landline I was told about "Talk Shield". Followed instructions and like everyone on this post arrived at "Whoops blah blah blah..."
Unfortunately, Sky, a multi-billion pound organisation, can't seem to fix a months-long, IT issue that protects the vulnerable from these despicable fraudsters.
If there's a moderator out there reading this, @Daniel-F, Please can you reply to why this isn't being addressed?
And if we cannot activate this service via the internet or app, how CAN we activate it and block unwanted numbers while this issue persists?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@blondie43 it appears to be a problem which affects a relatively small number of Sky Talk users. I'm guessing that's why Daniel asked for details from those affected in order to help Sky investigate.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYour Mum perhaps needs to research the purchase of a landline phone with answerphone which incorporates call blocking. Yes, there is an initial outlay but she would then have a reliable block set up. Panasonic are one company that make them.

How can they close a ticket that they cannot resolve? Surely it stays open until a solution is found?
I suppose so their bosses don't look bad at the directors meetings!🤣
