@bunnie I know how you feel. I too lost lost all my star list because a Sky adviser switched Sky Talk Shield off and on. It is shocking and shows complete lack of training. Sky wanted my account number to investigate further but I did not agree to this as I have lost all confidence in them. After all this time, I don' think it is ever going to be fixed.

Update this week
The use of sky.com is still broken as is the iPhone app. The use of directly accessing via the phone has done use but unfortunately redirects you to sky.com for listing numbers and possibly other functions. This is still broken ...
This was worked through in a 90+ minute call with two helpful operators and one who just 'ran'. The last operator who took me through the use of the phone route was adamant it would solve m request as obviously she did not realise the link provided took you to the sky.com page (whoops error message).. if I had believed her the. I would have wasted time in yet another call to the service desk (over 5 hours and counting)

Had a phone call this afternoon about sky talk shied , they are no nearer fixing this issue so will get another call in few weeks , in the meantime just try it every few days to see if it works.

@Jitty1 the length of time its taken we know by now there not even bothering with it scandalous they cant fix it and i honestly dont think they every will thanks for letting us know tho xx

@Jitty1 would be nice if sky themselfs updated here once in a while but i suppose if its brushed under carpet and forgotten about then they dont need to xx

I've been able to reinstate my starred and blocked numbers by using my landline phone (not a quick process as you have to do them individually!), so I suppose that's something. Have a look back on page 13 where a Sky employee provides the link giving the info. We should still be able to do this online and I really don't understand why Sky can't tell us what's going on i.e. is this capability going to be available to us, their customers, again and if not WHY NOT!

The app development team at sky should be fired quite frankly. A recent update to the sky app for netflix did not update automatically so customers have to go through a very tedious process to get netflix working as i did today after netflix not working for weeks and weeks. According to customer service team they are investigating why this error has happened. simple - apply qualitity testing before implementation of system/app .updates.. This is the same principle for the update to the skytalk sheild app that nobody gives a xxx about at Sky

I see this was April-----now it's August , still can't star or block any more numbers--instead I get an automated msg saying " you have not received any calls" ??????!!!!
Entering 1781 or 1783 does nothing anymore on my landline which I use as my main form of communication .

This link only took me to a "sign in to talk shield" page--- but when I signed in and clicked
" amend star and block numbers"
Then I got the "WHOOPS" page , yet again 😮💨

Hi there, I use the following procedure to activate/deactivate TalkShield during this completely unsatisfactory failure:
On your landline Dial 1780 on your phone and THEN press 1 to toggle the status between Disable and Enable. I think you need to hang up immediately after pressing the final 1, i.e. you can NOT Enable THEN Disable on the same call, yiu HAVE to hang up.

engineer told us about sky talk shield when we had broadband upgrade but try as might we can't activate it. Just get message saying something went wrong
