Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

1471 not working, i dial the number then it goes dead and 1571 are not working. No beep to say there are voicemails there. Also when I dial out to other sky members, the ringing tone sounds double, as though it's engaged. But it's not. Help!

I posted the original query.
Good News - the back room staff appear to have reinstated my 1471 service . Bad News - I got a notification to say I'd added the paid for 1571 service to my account - which I didn't.
I have a sneaky suspicion that the free 1471 service (which I do want) is only available if you have the paid for 1571 service (which I don't want). If this is correct it would be nice to know this to enable choices to be made. Also should be made clear in the blurb that a free service isn't actually free.
Hoping I'm wrong - but suspect I'm right.
