That's quite funny all I have had is around 3 text saying the same thing, I would love the fault to be in the cabinet, if that's the case why don't they get an engineer to check it's not a fault in the cabinet.

Credit to Sky - my phone line started working last night - so obviousluy something was being done.

I've had this problem with my phone line, They asked me while talking to them to send 3 photos which I did so it could be esculated, and today received a text asking me to ring them, they gave me a list of instructions which I carried out and it's still the same. I have a dial tone, it dials the number then goes straight back to the dial tone, they've even tried ringing the phone and they could'nt get through.
They said if the above didn't work to contact again to provide more photos, but what else can they do?

In my opinion it's a waste of time, I have had no landline for pushing 3 months now, just keeps saying there is a temporary fault, Sky need to get this sorted, it's long enough now

You need to put in an official complaint. You'll be entitled to around £1,000 compensation if you haven't had a working landline for circa 90 days

Thanks RL11, I've given them everything they've asked for photos, hub details, rebooted the hub like they said etc and still nothing and they now seem to say investigation complete and gave me £10 compensation. But still no phone, Dial tone comes on, number beeps then back to dial tone.. They said maybe my phone wasn't compatible, but I told them it worked on the black hub before I changed to Max. Will try ringing them again after Christmas.

If you havnt tried it, a reset worked for me. This is accomplished by holding the WPS for at least 30 secs, which should see the front panel light change. I also rebooted, my connection then returned, which had been fine with the black router
