since moving into my new home end of may ive not been able to use my landline phone because when i bought my phones there was no cable to connect them to the electric and as my carer is eager to get rid of the cardboard packaging she always throws out the leaflet telling you what should be contained in the box ive no idea if the cables were missing or have been thrown out but its only now ive found out my services have been suspended because of unpaid bill and to make matters worse the other day i got my mobile stuck in the mecanism of my recliner chair and mangled the whole phone. as i rely on the phone being disabled and stuck indoors most of the time its difficult to get hold of people like G.P,s etc so i think sky should help what do you think

I think you need to ask you carer next time they are there about this and ask them to get you some of the cables that you require if indeed you do need them.

Despite your disability and problems with your landline phone now that your services are restricted, before reinstating your services Sky will require payment in full and also the setting up of a new continuous payment method. If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will also have to pay the next bill as well.
Depending on your previous payment history you may be able to pay all but £25 which will then be added to your next bill (although this does NOT apply for a Sky Mobile restriction).
If you can’t pay all now you can pay what you want, when you want, but until the bill is paid off in full Sky will not reinstate your services. Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts or promises to pay.
Once your payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, although this may not be instant, especially at a weekend when the banks are closed.
Once you've done this you should register with the Sky Accessibility Team

This has nothing to do with Sky and it's not up to them to help with it.
You need to pay the overdue bill.

Re this has nothing to do with sky, i agree in one sense however in one sense it is considering im a customer of theirs and surely it will be on their records that ive not used the phone however i know ive to pay for rental and have just realised my error and need to look at my bill again. Thankyou for jogging my memory as this is what happens when you have neurogical conditions that erase some of your memory only for it to come back by replying to someone like yourself. Ive multiple medical conditions and as you can see rely on carers 4 times a day and sometimes not always the same carer and my main carer never looks at packaging particulary as the housing officer told me i was in breach of my tennancy agreement for having left an empty box on the floor so soon after moving in so everything gets moved and put into the appropiate wheely bin as we have one for recycling and so on so you could say i cant win either way. So all i can say is thankyou once again into prompting me to reply to this and jogging my memory
