Just had Sky installed (20 Nov 24) including Talk phone on FTTP broadband. Spoke to Sky and asked when my old number would be ported. Was informed Openreach do not port numers and I would have to use new number.
Is this true that Sky do not port old house numbers when cahnaging to Sky from VM.
Ofcom has a general expectation of number portability, but doesn't insist on it where one or both providers claim that it's not possible for technical reasons.
