Phone line is dead but internet is fine.

I have managed to contact Sky and raise this as an issue.  They have been in touch with BT and apparently they are trying to resolve the issue.  However, this is now nearly 14 days ago.  I keep getting messages from 'Experts' saying BT need more time to resolve this,  but this seems to be taking ages to resolve.  Just wondering if anyone else has had a similair problem.  Landline is our main method of communication as our mobile signal is poor at best where I live

It could take considerably longer if Openreach (not BT) need to dig up the road or pavement to effect a repai4 as they need to gain council permission and arrang3 a suitable crew and equipment. In the meantime this link outlines auto compensation for when there is a total loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full working days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it, It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your account.
