Phone constantly rings, but when answered no one there, i hang up and it rings again

Phone seems to be stuck in a loop - it rings, i answer no one there, i hang up, it rings again.

I have turned it off at the mains and unplugged it, left it a few minutes and plugged back in, but the same loop happens,

i have plugged in a different phone but makes no difference.....

Any suggestions

@Sandra2023 some auotomated caaller systems can get stuck its really annoying when this happens. If it is giving a constant number on caller id add it to your block list in Sky Talk Shield https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-talk-shield-using-star-and-block-lists
