Just had new Sky Max ultrafast (no difference in speed)!
I have spoken to multiple advisors to say 1 samsung tv won't connect, having to use WPS button to log in every time as wont recognise password. Dont want to reduce security as I work from home.
We have 2x other tvs, one older and one newer which have connected straight away.
Also our landline phone isn't connected since OpenReach fitted new hub.
Going around in circles with Sky Advisors who dont really know how to sort issues 🙄

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@SamJC24 assume you are plugging the phone into the hub rather than the wall socket if not try that.
The issue with downgrading WiFi security is not serious as the vast majorityof routers and devices use WP2 but unfortunately due to poor programming by Samsung your TV wont connect to the new hub's default WPA3T which your other devices are quite happily doing. Home WiFi networks are rarely hacked by breaking the WiFi security most security breaches are down to phishing etc So, unless yiu are a target of organised crime or a stare security service switching from WPA3T to WPA2 should not be an issue especially given your work traffic should all be encrypted.
