No landline, broadband works fine

Hi, recently switched to Sky SuperFast and while the broadband works perfectly, the landline cannot dial out nor receive calls. Have tried another handset with the same result, as well as unplugging everything and reinstalling the Hub etc. Any help would be appreciated, thank you 🙂

Is your phone handset plugged into the socket at the back of your broadband Hub?

It is yes 🙂 All the lights on the Hub are green. I tried using the Sky connection tests and I keep getting a 'try again later' response.

You've anticipated and answered what was to be my next question!

 

It appears from the forum that it can take a couple of days for completion of the Talk activation. If it has been longer than that, I'd suggest reporting it to Sky.We can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat, if you wish?

Went through as many 'fixes' as I could think of and was stumped by the end, so asking for help was the only thing I could think of 🙂 Yes please, that would be great. I tried ringing and i went through all my credit, it was that busy 😛 Thank you!

OK, I've alerted Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you via private, online messaging later today. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates. Once the chat is activated it remains open for 48 hours, after which it will automatically close..
