@Dave+r55 Hi Dave, spoke to sky again the other day and they passed the issue on to another department, so I've had a text this lunchtime saying its an outage problem in my area and usually takes a couple of days to fix, so we'll see,

Hi, spoke to sky Monday basically told me the same,when I told her this was the 7time I'd called,she started reading from the script, advised her that if it wasn't sorted by next tuesday.bye bye sky,let me know if you get yours sorted.thanks for the heads up.

Update: With the install of sky Max, all phone numbers on land lines have been reset by such programmes as call guardian and will not allow incoming calls unlkes you selct allow on home phone and on some occasions you will need to re add the number to your landline

Seems odd. I don't understand why numbers stored by Call Guardian which is a third party product not provided by Sky would have been reset.

Hi @Glenpaul1, do you mean screen and block incoming calls? Sky has their own Sky Talk Shield which can do that: https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-talk/sky-talk-features/sky-talk-shield/articles/sky-talk-shield-ge...

@Mark39 no, I was replying about your last post about the phone being blocked, sky advised me by text yesterday lunch time that there is an outage in my area and would take 2 days to fix, we'll see

@Mark39 Hi Mark, I've just tried calling my landline this morning and still not working 9-30 am just tried again now 12-30 am well whatever they've done its now working YIPPEE, so the girl I spoke to the other day has done good by escalating my issue to another department, and they found an outage problem in my area, and they have fixed it, so the key thing here is for people who have the same issue, landline can call out but not receive incoming calls is to make sure the issue is escalated to a higher department and they will check it out and send text message to you stating the problem and how long it will take to fix, its worked for me, so good luck, just do it.
