New broadband yesterday landline never worked

New broadband customer, broadband service is fine, landline not worked from outset. Performed all the diagnostics but no change.  Suggestions please?

Is your phone plugged into your broadband Hub?

 

Do you have a black or white Hub?

 

If black, is the Voice light on the front panel illuminated> Amber or green?

Phone plugged into the UK phone connection. White hub, broadband and TV working great.

There's a known problem affecting the landline service for some customers with the white Hub.

 

Try resetting your Hub, by pressing and holding the WPS button for 30 seconds. If that doesn't resolve it, Sky's advice is to get in touch with them.

I followed the link and went through the full process to end up supplying a photo of the setup and am awaiting sky, stated would check the line within 72 hours and would be down for about 3 minutes.
